“If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  2 Chronicles 7:14

Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:

When people are hungry for revival, the first thing that awakes in us is a true and holy Fear of YHVH! However the Fear of Adonai is mistaken by many to be a religious, rigid fear. In other words, many people become truly paranoid about everything they do and try to obey the laws of God through a spirit of legalism.  The word of God tells us that the Fear of YHVH is the beginning or the principal thing of wisdom. This wisdom is the wisdom that comes from above, not earthly or carnal wisdom. It is the Wisdom of God Himself that is released unto us by the Fear of YHVH. The Fear of the Lord is an attribute of the Holy Spirit,

“The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.”  Isaiah 11:2

People that are filled with the Holy Spirit will function under the true Fear of Adonai. The first thing they will practice is the cultivation of His Holy Presence and Anointing. They could be labeled “Holy Spirit junkies”, they will be concerned about not quenching His Fire and Presence! When the true Fear of Adonai is upon us, and in us, we will be careful to respond and to obey every prompting of the Holy Spirit. When we read the Word, we will seek Him to speak to us on how to apply His Word into our lives.  We will ask Him to write His Torah Laws and Commandments in our hearts. We will be careful, yes very careful on how we relate to the Holy Spirit’s manifestations. We will love to pray in tongues, prophesy and move in the gift of the Spirit such as healings and miracles. We will walk in a wisdom that is not of this world and will have His inspired thoughts!

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.   "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55

It is in that context that we must be careful not to judge what we do not understand. I have seen people border line blaspheming the Holy Spirit by judging what He is doing and labeling it “of the devil”

Today I would like to mention the two most common mistakes made by most believers that are NOT full of the Spirit of the Fear of YHVH. These mistakes quench the Spirit’s Fire and are very dangerous!

From the Messianic spectrum, I have seen that unstable leaders are teaching their flocks to discard everything labeled “Christian” and with it the manifestations of the Holy Spirit such as praying in TONGUES, Prophetic Worship and Healing.  The following is excerpts of a letter received after our last Shabbat Letter was published:

Dear Bishop Dominiquae,    I just read your latest email newsletter.  Thank you so much.  I wander if you would be able to answer a question.  I used to pray in tongues more than I do now.  That is when I was a christian.  I don't really call myself a christian anymore as I have given up many of the things christians do.  I am getting back to the Hebraic roots of the faith.  It seems that some of the teachers of faith in Messiah Yahshua and living Torah say that we have misunderstood speaking in tongues and that we should not do it.  They say that it is only if we are speaking another, (human,) language so that someone of another race understands the message in their own language. They say that if we are praying in tongues that no one understands that it is not the Ruach haKodesh.  I haven't wanted to do the wrong thing and so have not purposely prayed in tongues for a while,  but sometimes when I am lost in wonder love and praise or am crying out in prayer and am lost for words, it just comes out of me.  I don't feel it can be wrong.  From what you have written, you believe that we should be praying in tongues all day long.  You obviously think it is right and valid for today.   Have you done any teachings on the gift of tongues?  Toda Raba and Shalom from M.

Teaching against praying in tongues, or any manifestations of the Holy Spirit, is a very serious matter that causes people to fall into religiosity and brings the Messianic Movement into disrepute! In fact, when we reject the manifestations of the Holy Spirit and label them “demonic”, this is border line blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

"Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.”  Matthew 12:31

Anyone that teaches against the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues is like a wolf in sheep’s clothes! We must be aware of such, try to restore them and admonish them by the word of truth. However if they do not repent, it is better to ESCAPE from these kind of leaders! Do not ever exchange your relationship with the Holy Spirit for anything in the world! I can echo the words of Kathryn Cullman: “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, He is ALL I have!”

On the other hand, I have seen many Christian leaders rejecting the Jewish Roots of the Faith and rejecting the Torah, the Law of God altogether. In fact, many talk about “The Law” in terribly derogatory terms! This too is a deception and terribly grieving to the Holy Spirit! Many well meaning Christian leaders have been relentlessly persecuting the Move of Restoration to the Hebrew Foundations and they are actually persecuting the Messiah Himself! In one of my tours I experienced a Christian man that was sitting and hissing like a serpent because I insisted to call the Messiah by His original name Y’shua and not Jesus. This particular man was spewing pure HATRED! This move is not going to disappear but it will actually gather momentum and will make a dividing line between those that will accept it and those that won’t!

"So in the present case, I say to you, stay away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or action is of men, it will be overthrown;” Acts 5:38

This is not exceptional, as EVERY Move of God and EVERY revival has caused a dividing line in the Body, between those that move on with Cloud of Glory and those that don’t!

The Spirit of Anti Semitism has been quenching the Spirit all the way from the 4th century since the Council of Nicea was established! Historically speaking, the Church entered into the Dark Ages when not many could be born again because of rejecting the Jews, the Torah and everything Jewish. When the Hebrew foundations were replaced for pagan ones changing all feasts and dates, the Church lost its Messianic Apostolic Prophetic cutting edge, miracles almost ceased and true believers went underground!

I am an avid reader of Church history and I am amazed to find that no books mention the reason WHY the Church lost the Spirit and the Power. Why is it that we have to have it restored?  Why did we lose it in the first place? Any honest researcher will come to the conclusion that it was lost due to Anti Semitism and Replacement Theology! If we want to see a true End Time Revival, the entire Body world- wide MUST renounce the Council of Nicea and be restored to the original Jewish Foundations of Faith. Anyone that is impregnated with the Spirit of the Fear of YHVH will understand that this MAP Move is from YAH, (God), however the excesses in it are not! Every move of the Spirit has had excesses but that’s not a reason to “throw out the baby with the bath water”.

This End Time Move will have the Restoration of ALL things! This includes ALL the manifestations of the Holy Spirit with Apostolic signs, wonders and miracles following as well as the FULL revelation and restoration of the Torah and of Israel, and its importance to the Believers in Messiah! Rejecting one or the other will greatly grieve the Holy Spirit, quench the Spirit’s Fire and border line go into blaspheming by accusing the works of the Spirit, (signs, wonders AND restoration of the Jewish Roots as in the Book of Acts,) to be of the devil!

"Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Yeshua, the Messiah appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.”  Acts 3: 19-21

Large portions of the Messianic Move is called to REPENTANCE for quenching the Spirit and for being motivated by hatred for everything labeled Christian. Large portions of the Charismatic-Pentecostal-Prophetic-New Wine. Move is called to REPENTANCE for rejecting the Laws of God and the Jewish Roots and for labeling it “legalistic”, thus falling into deception and even into a “New Age” like spirit that is lawless claiming that the Law is done away with.

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter .”Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'  Matthew 7:21-22

REPENTANCE is a MUST for all if we are to see a true lasting revival this time!

May the Fear of YHVH guide us all in all Heavenly Wisdom so we can reconcile LAW and SPIRIT!

"Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares the LORD. "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Jeremiah 31:31-34

If the Law is in your heart and mind, then you will be full of the Fear of the Lord and will be guided by the Holy Spirit to honor it. Your obedience will not come from a “legalistic” place of the Letter of the law that kills, but of the Spirit who gives LIFE! But OBEDIENCE will come!

REPENTANCE, OBEDIENCE and LAW will not be “legalistic words” anymore, but wonderful Spirit Inspired words that we will all love as we love ALL of Yah’s Words! There will be no more controversy if speaking in tongues is of God or the devil, or if healing, signs, wonders and miracles are for today. We shall all walk in Elohim’s Wisdom full of the Spirit of Fear of YHVH! God is not divided within Himself and the Bride of Messiah will not be divided within herself!

We are all called to humble ourselves and REPENT, turn from our mistaken ways and experience personal healing as well as national revival! There is no competition between FRUITS and GIFTS, LAW and SPIRIT, these are all part of the COMPLETE FAITH handed to us by the Jewish Apostles 2000 years ago!

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.”  Proverbs 9:10-11
