THE EILAT REPORT #5

Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:

What a whirlwind of happening here in Eilat this last month! For the most part the winter season is quieter and there are less Israeli tourists since the weather is bit cooler. When I say cooler, it means that it is still nicer and warmer than anywhere else in Israel, with plenty of sunny days and no rain.  Our winter here is like a wonderful summer for most of Europe, Russia and Scandinavia which means that many people from cold countries find Eilat very appealing! This last month we have been flooded with visitors from all over the world and especially from Finland! Not long ago the representative of the Christian channel in Finland, TV 7, did a documentary on Eilat featuring Bishop Dominiquae Bierman and the work of Kad-Esh MAP Ministries in the city; giving special emphasis to our vision to establish a Worship Center that will attract Christians world -wide to come and worship at this very strategic Southern Gate of Israel! Needless to say, this TV program (that has been broadcasted a few times in Finland) has attracted many Finnish Christian Tourists to our Worship meeting at the Worship Living Tower on Shabbat. In fact, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism Office in the city had been approached by some of the visiting Finnish Christian Tourists trying to find us! So, without even moving from Israel we are actually touching Finland and becoming a witness of light to the local Israeli Tourist authorities, HaleluYah!!!! Yah (God) is doing something very special in the nation of Finland that has been a great lover of Israel for so long!

We want to welcome our GRM students that started their three months training in Eilat just before Hanukkah and are due to graduate at the end of February! They will be studying the entire Global Revival MAP Course and a few other courses such as Biblical Hebrew and even Biblical Nutrition!

KEHILAT AHAVAT-YAH

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34,35

At the same time, a new Kehilá (Congregation) has been birthed in our Worship Tower here in Eilat.  The name Abba gave us is Kehilat Ahavat-Yah or the Congregation of God’s Love! What a challenge it is to establish a congregation in a city like Eilat. So many people come and go and most of the locals have a “free spirit”, which means that they love their lives and individualism too much to commit to anything. However, we felt the Father literally thrusting us into this new work as well as our international work and travel.  We dedicated the congregation to the Lord on the first Shabbat of Hanukkah on the 12 of December and what a KISS from Heaven! Not only was the meeting very anointed, happy and exciting, but we were also packed full of people.  We had a few of our local brethren of Eilat as well as the GRM students that have just started their three months training with us, some volunteers and faculty members, and of course many of our Finnish friends that had seen us on TV!

STARS IN EILAT

"Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:3

The true Kiss from Heaven was the salvation of a special Eilati woman that visited our meeting for the first time. She had read Bishop’s testimony book of salvation KEN (YES) and she was very touched, she decided to visit the meeting, invited personally by the author of the book-Dominiquae Bierman. She was a little bit concerned at first, as there were people from all over the world in the meeting, and she was ready to “escape” in case she did not like it. Half way into the meeting she must have made a phone call to another friend of hers that joined her shortly. We used normal Israeli songs for worship, (for many of the classic Israeli songs are based on the Word!), as well as new anointed songs given by Y’shua. The said lady was mightily touched by the Spirit, as anointed worship was intertwined with the Prophetically anointed word of teaching and she began to weep.  By  the end of the meeting she and her friend where already at the front of the hall singing a Hannukah song that all Israelis learn in Kindergarten. This song says “We came to expel the darkness. Each one of us is a small light and all together we make a big light! Darkness leave because the light has come!” Together with our Messianic sister Kami they sang and added movement to the song! Kami used to go to Kindergarten with one of the ladies and they had not met for years! We are happy to say, one of them gave their hearts to Yeshua at the end of the meeting and the other one is extremely open and touched. The work of the Holy Spirit could be clearly seen in both of them! We were extremely excited since twice a week we have prayer in our Tower for the Revival of Eilat! Well one of the ladies names is EILAT! And the other is called STAR in Hebrew and they are both professional dancers! We have prayed  for the musicians, the worshippers and all artists to be mightily touched and mightily saved so they can give Glory to the Most High! And this was our gift from heaven on the day we dedicated Kehilat Ahavat-Yah to Yeshua, what a start!

SERIOUS PRAYER IS NEEDED

'For I,' declares YHVH, 'will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.' Zechariah 2:5

Together with these great and joyful events, the battle all around us has been intensifying and we ask you beloved friends and partners to be seriously praying for us! The moment that we declared the opening of the congregation all kinds of “storms” began to happen all around us trying to make us quit.  Satan is seriously afraid of a Messianic Apostolic Prophetic Congregation in Eilat! The city is full of New Age, other witchcraft and immorality, and our presence here is bothering it intensely. Eilat has been a “preachers graveyard” but we decree that his city will birth many preachers, Apostles and Prophets both Jews and Gentiles, Black and White, Male and Female! And everybody said AMEN! When you pray for Eilat, pray for our congregation to become an “Antioch” with many prophets and teachers to be sent out from here, to come to train and to go as well. Also pray for the local saints and believers to become ON FIRE for Y’shua, and for the new believers to catch fire immediately and become radical for Him and mature quickly!

Please declare Zechariah 2:5 over us often!  'For I,' declares the LORD, 'will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.'"

PRAYERS THAT RESCUE THE CITY

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19

As you well know, we are offering twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, from 6 AM, special sun rise prayers for the Protection and Revival of Eilat. Sometimes we have a couple of other pastors that join us in this prayer time and especially the local Russian Pastor Yuri (Please pray for him and his congregation too!). Unbeknown to us there was a plan well underway in our neighboring city in Jordan called Aqaba, which is the Biblical location of ancient Eilat. With the help of moneys from tycoons in Dubai and the Arab Emirates, they were building a super-mega tourism complex with luxury hotels and resorts just “across the street” from Eilat. The Emirates had pumped this project with serious money for the purpose of stripping Eilat naked of all tourism so the city would collapse! On top of it, they were planning to establish two NUCLEAR POWER STATIONS in the area to generate enough electricity for this megalomaniac project! I have had the privilege of visiting neighboring Aqaba a few months ago in order to visit and minister to some Christians stationed over there and I saw the tremendous quantity of new hotels being built, but had no idea that Dubai was involved or that the electricity would come from a nuclear power station! Can you imagine a nuclear power station just across the street so to speak from our home? Not to mention the possibility of leaks like in Chernobil, but what about any kind of political tension between Israel and any of the Arab neighbors? Let your imagination do the rest! Well, Yah is awesome! Through the prayers of many saints, I believe, He took care of this situation by causing a terrible financial shaking in none other than Dubai! So, Dubai pulled out the money from the Aqaba City Project, and the said project has been paralyzed just before it can be completed and activated! Please keep on praying for Yah to totally destroy all the plans of the enemy against Eilat and all of Israel since this is the South Gate of all of Israel! It is during times like this that we realize how seriously important is our job as Watchmen at the Gate! Sometimes we do not know the magnitude and the scope of our prayers, but as long as we are faithful, Elohim will reward and crown our efforts with success beyond our imagination! However, we must be watchful, the danger is by no means over!

A HOUSE FOR HIS GLORY!

And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. Exodus 12:21

We are facing two big moves any time now. Our house lease is over which means that we need to find another place for our family. We are really dreaming to be able to buy, so we do not move so often as our (50 and 63 years young) bones and belongings are a bit weary of moving after 21 years o  extremely strenuous Apostolic Service!. It was only two years ago that we came to Eilat! Please pray for a miracle to be able to buy our own place! We have both our children, Adi and Yuval with us, as well as Karen, two lovely Pekingese dogs that love people, and of course Rabbi and I and the many visitors that come and go! We have no funds to start this purchase at the moment but our desire for our own house is increasingly growing as the days go by. The market in Eilat is good for buying and not so good for renting. There is almost no rentals available for the size house we need. We must have a place within less than 30 days! Lord help us! A few months ago we had a dear friend and Prophet of Yah who prophesied that someone was holding One Million US Dollars for us; he said “I do not like to give these kinds of words but I feel strongly about this”. Well, this is the time to release it! Also our lease in the Tower is over as the owner wants to sell! Both our family and the ministry need permanent houses and one million USD can really help! However, also less than that can help.  If many people decide to pray about this situation and sow into us and our ministry in the Land of Israel. This being the end of the tax year for many, could you please pray about giving into this extremely urgent need?
