Apostles to the Market Place #7

“And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted.” Genesis 31:10

Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:

Have you noticed that many important events in the Holy Scriptures are preceded by a DREAM?

Jacob dreamt that all the flock was birthing spotted and speckled animals. That dream set up in motion a plan that created all the wealth that Jacob needed to become independent from his unjust father in law -Laban. Laban had exploited Jacob beyond words and had never really paid him his wages. Elohim used a dream that made Jacob into a Multi Millionaire!

“And He said, ‘Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.”  Genesis 31:12

God had not forgotten Jacob, though I am sure that he felt forsaken at times. He had been cheated so often by his devious father in law and had been exploited so much that he had forgotten that he was to be the heir of a Great Covenant. In order to restore Jacob’s faith and heart, Elohim inspired Jacob to DREAM AGAIN! He reminded him of his old dream and he gave him a NEW DREAM in order to fulfill the OLD DREAM!

“I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of your family.’” Genesis 31:13

When you are broke and in need of a desperate change, ask YHVH to help you DREAM AGAIN! He then will give you a dream that will help you fulfill your purpose in life! Just like in the case of Jacob, you may need wealth in order to escape your present day trapping circumstances, God is not short of inventive and creative wealth ideas that can make you into a rich person in a very short amount of time. The answer is right under your nose, in the place where you are, in the area where you live, in your own warehouse. The answer is normally so simple that you would be amazed that it was there all the time!

Just like in the case of the Widow with the Oil, her solution to pay the creditors after the death of her husband was in her own kitchen!

“So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” 2 Kings 4:2

Just like in the case of Jacob, his solution was right there among the same smelly animals that were his companions day and night. The overturning of his circumstances was right there IN THE MIDST of His circumstances but he needed to DREAM AGAIN!

What is the source of dreams? Why are they important? Psychological Research has shown that depressed people do not dream and that dreaming helps people emotionally. A dream can carry a person through a lot of set -backs and hardship. A dream is a “video of the imagination,” and it can be fed by our own desires, thoughts, emotions, and by the Holy Spirit or evil spirits. That video of the imagination can dictate the course of entire nations and of history. Some people dream and imagine themselves doing things in life. Little children imagine themselves becoming doctors, policemen, singers etc… A dream is an imagination of the night, while a vision is an imagination of the day. Both of them shape our lives so we’d better pay more attention to it.

When we are talking about making wealth or creating riches, it all starts with an idea or a dream. Edison had an idea that produced millions.  After 10.000 attempts the light bulb was born and it made Edison very wealthy. Henry Ford dreamt of popular cars and engines, overcoming all obstructions and unbelief, he created the first popular car.   He became a multi billionaire and all his family after him. Glen Jensen woke up in the middle of the night with the multibillion dollar idea of Agel.  In the middle of the night, he had “a light” go on inside of him and the idea of delivering vital nutrients inside of a Gel Matrix was born. Dreams, visions and ideas of our imaginations are God given devices that make us creative in every area of our lives and especially in the wealth creating arena.

“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

That dream, that idea, that Prophetic Word is the God given POWER to make wealth!

How many ideas have you had that you had discarded as impossible or foolish? How many dreams have you dreamt and decided not to follow because it is only a “figment of your imagination?”

Here is a recipe that works: Find what you love to do the most, add value to it, (pay attention, give it importance, allow yourself to think on it and to dream,) and find a team of people that will work with you on executing your project it. Jacob worked with his herdsmen, sons and wives. The widow woman borrowed vessels from the neighbors and worked with her sons, (that were very interested not to go into slavery!). Find those people that will agree with you, share your same vision and complement your talents.  Do not fear, only believe and your circumstances of poverty and lack will be changed forever!

Do you feel that life and circumstances have cheated you of your rightful wages? Maybe so! It may be that just like Jacob you were doing the right thing and serving God, and yet the people around you have been unjust. Maybe you are a pastor that has served faithfully for years and yet you have not been properly remunerated. It can happen, in fact it happens very often! It happened to Jacob and to the widow woman whose husband was a Servant of Elohim. The answer for both of them was CREATIVE BUSINESS!

“A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”  So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”  2 Kings 4:1-2

The Widow woman received a Prophetic Word from Elisha, followed it, and became very wealthy.  Jacob DREAMT AGAIN and he became very wealthy! YHVH is not short of dreams or prophetic words to help you out of slavery and poverty. He is FULL of them but when they come you must believe and ACT on them. Both Jacob and the Widow Woman went from BROKE toExtremely WEALTHY in a matter of months! After years of suffering they got vindicated in a very SHORT TIME. It can happen to you if you only dare to believe again, to DREAM AGAIN and to ACT upon your dream!

“Thus I have been in your house twenty years; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times. Unless the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night.” Genesis 31:41-42

May the God of Jacob help you DREAM AGAIN and vindicate all your labor for Him beyond your “wildest imaginations!”

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Y’shua the Messiah to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”  Ephesians 3:20-21
