These (fiery trials) have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Yeshua Messiah is revealed. 1Peter 1:7

Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:

It is during times of great hardships and the fire of adverse circumstances that we really discover the True Colours of ourselves and of those around us. When the fires of afflictions burn in our lives it causes all that is impure to rise to the top. This can affect our personal lives and the lives of those around us since the heat is felt by all. Of course all precious metals such as silver and gold are purified and perfected in the fire. In the same way a HEART of GOLD is only acquired in the fire of suffering. However when the afflictions are many there are some that acquire a HEART of GOLD and some that come out with a BLACK HEART full of bitter judgment. The same applies to those around you, as you go through various trials and fiery trials you will find out who around you has a Heart of Gold and who has a Black Heart. Most of us do not like trials and we truly dread them. If anyone happens to go through terrible tragedies, we are quick to shield ourselves and to judge. The eternal question is “what is the terrible sin of so and so that he/she/they are going through this?” Especially if that person is in ministry, then the “spiritual vultures” become “all knowing prophets” and they begin to “talk”, to slander to gossip, to whisper…Your very “good friends”, those that have been closer to you become an “authority “ of why this is happening to you and become your worse enemies, though they do it all in the name of “friendship and sound council”. Truly hearts get revealed in the fires of affliction whether of GOLD or not just like in the life of JOB and his “friends”.

They have to bring their “opinion”

Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered, "If one ventures a word with you, will you become impatient?  But who can refrain from speaking? Job 4:1,2

Especially when we are in the ministry, we are under a magnifying glass. Every flaw and fault gets magnified and exaggerated, after all aren’t ministers of God supposed to be perfect and lead a perfect life full of bliss??? Job’s friends kept on trying to find the great sin that Job had committed in order to deserve such terrible punishment “from God”

Remember now, who ever perished being innocent?  Or where were the upright destroyed? "According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity and those who sow trouble harvest it. "By the breath of God they perish, and by the blast of His anger they come to an end.

What a shock to find out that the greatest Servants of God are actually those who have passed again and again through the fires of affliction. In fact what makes them truly GREAT is that in spite of their life challenges and personal and family trials they continue to do Yah’s Work instead of being selfish and only caring for themselves. Open your eyes and SEE your pastors and leaders, cherish them and SEE how great they are! Most of them are right this moment going through terrible personal difficulties and YET you will meet them at the pulpit, the prayer room and the outreach with selfless sacrificial love and obedience doing the Work of the Master and watching for your soul! Most of those pastors and leaders suffer ALONE as there are so few that are truly trustworthy that will not judge them. They may have problems in their marriage, sickness in the family, terrible debts and challenges with their children, BUT they are caring for YOU while having to overcome their problems. And what is the “payment” from many? Criticism, gossip, slander, selfish reactions….Truly it is high time for all of us to REPENT and be PURIFIED!

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation. 1 Peter 4:12,13

The Fires of Trials have a way of purifying our attitudes IF we let them! I believe that in the days to come the fires of affliction will intensify in the Church until we become as a Bride pure and holy! Then, those of us that have suffered and overcome will be able to show the WAY to all the others that are willing to follow the way of the Heart of Gold, of purity, holiness, humility and righteousness.

For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17

When the fires burn very hot it causes the gold to become almost TRANSPARENT. Truly there is nothing like TRANSPARENCY, there is just no weapon against it. Today most of us are hiding sins and evil attitudes and “dark secrets” for FEAR. But who are we to fear if not Elohim and Him alone? There is no better way to walk in VICTORY more than transparency! After I got saved I felt led to write my extremely dramatic and life changing testimony of Salvation, my book YES. ½ of the book talks about my life and sins before Messiah and the other ½ about my prophetic walk with Messiah, great testimonies and also my shortcomings as He teaches me on the Way! Because my life is an “Open Book” satan cannot get to me with condemnation! Now, it is time for me to write the continuation of that book and show the world all the things that a woman that has served God for 21 years has had to endure. Would you like to know? It is so important that you know that those that serve God and have great anointing and callings also have great hardships and tests. It is time to stop “idealizing” and “idolizing” the ministry so you can see it for what it is an ALTAR OF SACRIFICE!

I have been crucified with Messiah; and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah  lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.     Galatians 2:20

The reason why I believe in Transparency is that the enemy can never find anything to “hook” you, he cannot threaten you with guilt and condemnation and though he will use others to judge you, Transparency will shield you! When you have nothing to hide, then you walk in purity and purity and integrity PROTECT you.

The integrity of the upright will guide them but the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them. Proverbs 11:3

Fiery trials can be used to PURIFY your walk, your heart and your MOTIVATIONS. What is it that motivates you? Your “self life”? Your “desires”? Your greed? Your thirst for power, fame, recognition, fear, etc..? Or HIM, His Kingdom, His Word, His Holy Spirit, the Fear of God, LOVE?

Therefore YHVH has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes. With the kind You show Yourself kind; With the blameless You show Yourself blameless; With the pure You show Yourself pure, And with the crooked You show Yourself astute. For You save an afflicted people, But haughty eyes You abase. Psalms 18:24-27

Judgment has begun in the House of the Lord, the fires of trials are burning all around, they will show the True Colours, the nature of your walk, your heart and your motivations. If you don’t like the colour it shows you then HUMBLE yourself under the mighty Hand of God and let Him CHANGE the colour of your heart until you display a Heart of Gold. Elohim relates to us according to the condition of our hearts!

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6,7

Remember that those around you will also begin to show their True Colours and you may not like it! However you are not in charge of THEM but rather of your own heart. So, keep yourself from all bitterness and do not let disappointment in others (especially those traitor “good friends”, those “Job comforters”) to blacken your heart, let your heart shine with His Glory through forgiveness, faith and trust. Do not quit on Yeshua because others show terrible colours, or because you are disappointed in yourself. Just humble your heart and keep walking, keep obeying. At the end of the road you will receive a BIG Crown to cast at His feet! You will also experience joy in the midst of all adversity and even a peace that passes all understanding. Many will experience greater anointing and a release of the miraculous, simply because those that have allowed a Heart of Gold to be formed in the fire can be trusted with GREAT GLORY!
