Praying for Israel with Insight
Isaiah 62 Fast & Prayer Special Edition
I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn. Zechariah 12:10
Shabbat Shalom, dearly beloved!
We, United Nations for Israel, have joined the worldwide Isaiah 62 Fast & Prayer from May 7th to May 28th as a prayer hub.
As we fast and pray to defeat the Principality of Amalek over Israel and the in-grafted believers from the nations, it is good to know how to pray.
The Enemies of Israel
The very fact that Israel exists is an astounding miracle! Amalek, in various forms, has tried to blot out the name of Israel from under heaven.
They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.” Psalms 83:4
Today there are thousands of Arab children in Israel under the Palestinian Authorities who learn at school that the name of the land where they live is “Falestin”. The map of Israel in their school books carries no names such as Israel, Jerusalem, and the like – they only use names such as “Falestin,” “Al Kuds,” and the like. For them, Israel and the name of Israel do not exist. They are being indoctrinated to hate all Jews and to annihilate all of Israel. This is so that the name of Israel will be remembered no more, which is a typical “Amalek” strategy. However, the strategy of YHVH comes first.
Then YHVH said to Moses, “Write this in a book as a memorial and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Exodus 17:14
The memory (name) of Israel will not be blotted out, but the name of Amalek and all of his allies (including “Falestin”) will! In fact, the word Falestin or Palestine comes from Philistine, the ancient enemies of Israel. The demonic principalities are the same!
Our battle is not against flesh and blood, and our desire is not the annihilation of all the Palestinians. But that is exactly their desire towards Israel; therefore, a peace treaty with them would never work in the long run. We must remember that in the Koran “Peace” with enemies does not exist, but only “Hudna.” Hudna is a kind of “cease-fire” when your enemy is strong, but when he is weak, attack him. This is a typical Amalekite strategy: Attack others when they are weak!
Remember what Amalek did to you along the way when you came out from Egypt, how he met you along the way and attacked among you all the stragglers at your rear when you were faint and weary; and he did not fear God. Deuteronomy 25:17, 18
YHVH called Israel not to forget this kind of cruel behavior and to execute fierce wrath against it to the point of blotting out the Memory of Amalek (Islam, Nazism, Replacement Theology, and the like) from under Heaven. In other words, the Almighty Himself has an issue with Amalek and his allies!
Does this mean that we can expect all Muslims to die or that we should pray that way? No, of course not; we must pray for them to be saved. But we must pray with insight and knowledge, for if we pray “romantic prayers” that are not founded on the Word of God, we will receive no answers.
I believe that one of the most important prayer strategies includes the salvation of the Arabs. In fact, the Holy Scriptures promises the Palestinians an inheritance in the Land of Israel if they repent. If not, they will be completely destroyed as YHVH executes His Fierce Wrath against Amalek.
Thus says YHVH concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel, “Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them. And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land. Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, ‘As YHVH lives,’ even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people. But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it,” declares YHVH. Jeremiah 12:14-17
A powerful prayer and very effective one would be:
YHVH, save those “wicked neighbors” of Israel that have a soft heart towards You and are repentant, and destroy those that are so hardened that they will not repent!
As you pray and fast for Israel, declare the whole of Psalms 83 concerning the enemies of Israel! Pray that Israel will be strong. Remember that Amalek (Islam) attacks when we are weak.
YHVH, strengthen Israel!
Jerusalem
O God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still. For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, and those who hate You have exalted themselves. Psalms 83:1, 2
We need to understand that the enemies of Israel are the enemies of Elohim, and we need to pray effective prayers – especially when it comes to Jerusalem.
So it will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. Zechariah 12:3
Any nation that comes against Jerusalem, tries to divide it, uproot it from the Jewish People, or dishonor it as the Eternal Capital of Israel will be severely injured. This is already happening, and many nations are suffering serious consequences because of this.
We need to realize that YHVH will not rest until Jerusalem is fully established according to His purposes and until the Jewish Messiah is sitting on His Throne on the Temple Mount.
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent. You, who remind YHVH, take no rest for yourselves; and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem praise in the earth. Isaiah 62:6, 7
So, when we pray for Jerusalem, we must obey the Word in this and give Him no rest until we see Jerusalem fully established, not divided!
A Powerful Prayer for Jerusalem would be:
YHVH, establish Jerusalem and make her a praise in the earth! Thwart the plans of Amalek to divide her or to defile her in any way!
In that day YHVH will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of YHVH before them. And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. Zechariah 12:8, 9
The Restoration of Israel
When it comes to Israel, we must have a Holy Love towards her and the People. A Holy Love is very different from a “romantic love.” Romantic love can come and go, but Holy Love endures forever. The People of Israel are a Holy People indeed because the Almighty has set them apart to be His Vessel of redemption on the earth. Through the People of Israel the nations received the Holy Bible, the Messiah, and the Gospel!
However, the modern-day nation of Israel is brought back to the Land after 2000 years of exile in a very needy condition. They have returned to the Land but not yet to the Elohim of the Land. The good news is that where sin abounds, so does grace; so Israel is the best candidate for Yah’s grace, as sin abounds in the Holy Land. So, remember we must pray with knowledge if we want to see results! Below you can see the “I wills” of Elohim concerning Israel. Pray all of them as written, and those prayers will “hit the target!”
Pray the Seven “I wills” on behalf of the people of Israel:
For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God. Ezekiel 36:24-28
Revival in Israel prior to Yeshua’s Return
Many Christians think that the Jews will only get saved after the rapture. This is far from the Truth! Right now there are thousands of Messianic Jews and Israelis in the Holy Land that have accepted Yeshua as the Messiah. The writer of this Shabbat Letter was saved in the Land of Israel by direct revelation of the Holy Spirit 33 years ago, and this is happening all the time – Yeshua is revealing Himself to His People!
At the same time that this is happening, the anti-Messiah organization Yad L’Achim, a very religious orthodox organization, is persecuting the Messianic Jews fiercely. It publishes ads full of venom inciting the public against us, attacking verbally, bodily, and even to our property. This has been escalating seriously this last year as we are getting closer and closer to Revival. Of course, this fierce attack against the Messianic Jews is also Amalek!
So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua. Revelation 12:17
We need to pray effectively with our prayers here, as many of these religious Orthodox Jews that persecute the Messianic believers in the Land will be like Shaul/Paul and will soon become powerful Apostles and Servants of Yeshua! On the other hand, many will not. So, we must pray for YHVH to execute His Fierce Wrath against Amalek and uproot this wicked and dangerous organization from the face of the earth, blotting out its very name, which has become a terror among many Messianic Jews and especially those that are weak in faith. They used to be “bothersome” and a nuisance, but lately, they have become more militant, bold, and plainly dangerous. Unfortunately, the Israeli government does nothing to stop them, which means that they secretly support them. They periodically pray prayers of cursing over the Messianic believers.
Pray for the Messianic Jews in Israel:
- That the body of believers will walk holy and powerful, full of love,demonstrating His Kingdom at every turn.
- For the perfect love of Yah to cast out all fear.
- For prayer, fasting, and seeking of Yah’s face to increase!
And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
- Pray for YHVH to uproot this anti-Messiah organization (Yad L’achim) and dismantle it altogether.
Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only; and He said to it, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered. Matthew 21:19
- Pray for the Orthodox Jews and all of Israel to be saved, for the outpouring of the spirit of grace and supplication, and for

Pray for Yeshua to Return!
The battle of the End of the Age is the Battle of Yeshua against all the nations that have come against Israel. Then He will return to establish His Millennial Reign ruling and reigning over all the nations that remain with a rod of iron.
So, when we ask Yeshua to return, we are also asking Him to judge the nations that have come against Israel and Jerusalem. This is the time to stand in the gap for your nation so it can come to repent from all unbiblical politics concerning Israel and become a Sheep Nation instead of a Goat Nation.
Then YHVH will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. Zechariah 14:3, 4
