Shabbat shalom, dearly beloved!
We are at a crossroads of time. History will speak about this season as the most defining season in the Body of Messiah since the year 325 AD. The Body will be divided between those who choose to continue in the popular Cultural Gospel, and those who will pay the price to be misunderstood, and even persecuted for returning to the Biblical Gospel made in Zion; we will be divided between those who choose to remain popular with man and man-made socially acceptable religious traditions, and those who will choose popularity with the Most High God above all. Kingdom success is not measured by popularity, but by obedience to The Father.
So I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Listen to the sound of the shofar!’ But they said, ‘We won’t listen.’ Jeremiah 6:17
Obedience is only possible if we cultivate the dynamic duo of Faith and Fear of YHVH. And both of them come to fruition in us after we are baptized/immersed in the Holy Spirit and Fire like the Jewish Apostles of Ancient Israel. They were not Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Seventh-day Adventist, Charismatics or any kind of Christian. They were Jews who knew the Torah, the Hebrew Holy Scriptures. They knew the Power of Elohim that fell on them on Shavuot. This Power manifested through a Supernatural, Prophetic, Miraculous, Sacrificial walk of obedience to the Holy Spirit and Yah’s indwelling Word.
And they went out and proclaimed everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs that follow. Mark 16:20
They brought the Biblical Gospel Made in Zion wherever they went with the Biblical, Torah-oriented, Holy Spirit-empowered culture as given to Israel. When the last of the Jewish Apostles died after the Second Century AD, ANOTHER Gospel took over the Gentile believers in the Messiah. This is the Cultural Gospel that has been killing the Jews and the Bride of Messiah until this day!
I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Even from among yourselves will arise men speaking perversions, to draw the disciples away after themselves. Acts 20:29-30
The Cultural Gospel was adopted by the majority of Gentile Believers. They adopted the culture of Rome, rejected the Biblical Culture coming from Israel. The Roman patterns and traditions were easily adopted in the west in places like Europe and the USA, as well as in all the colonies of European Empires such as Spain, Portugal, Holland, Great Britain, and France.
In different continents the Cultural Gospel of Christianity adapted to the local cultures, always mixing with pagan traditions or idolatry. This can be seen among Christians in Papua New Guinea as they continue to practice such cultural traditions as bigamy, different ethnic feasts, cult weddings, and totem poles. In Africa, it can be mixed with the practices of witchcraft and superstitions. In Asia, Christians in India, Japan, Malaysia and China staunchly defend the Western Cultural Gospel because of much persecution and rejection from their own culture.
People have been very sincere in their devotion to the Christ they know, and when they are introduced to the Jewish Messiah and the Biblical Gospel, they can display a variety of reactions such as:
- Relief and excitement: I have been waiting for this all my life
- Anger: I have been lied to by all those that have taught me Replacement Theology, Cultural Gospel, rather than the pure Biblical Gospel from Zion.
- Staunch resistance: These are my religious traditions and those of my ancestors – this is the Jesus Christ that saved me and delivered me. Do not bring me the Biblical Gospel, as I love my Cultural Gospel and am comfortable in it.
- Curiosity: Let me check it out, this sounds interesting. I am willing to do my research.
Three of the most common reactions are actually quite positive, and only one closes the door entirely to Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, in favor of religion and the Cultural Gospel.
That is Great News!
Then Yeshua said to the Judeans who had trusted Him, “If you abide in My word, then you are truly My disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!” John 8:31-32
The outcome of Religion and the Cultural Gospel in the USA
According to White House Correspondent William Koenig, about 60% of all Christians in the USA are totally ignorant about Israel and the Jewish Roots of the Faith. For the most part, these Christians are also pro-Palestinians, openly or covertly anti-Jewish and anti-Zionists, those who support abortions and homosexual marriages.

The Cultural Gospel and Sheep Nations
All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Matthew 25:32
The Cultural Gospel has not been able to create Sheep Nations even at this late date. This is very distressing because the wrath of God will be poured out on all nations shortly, and His deepest dream of having Sheep Nations has not yet been fulfilled. This means that the way the Gospel has been preached has not been effective to make disciples in the nations properly. Religion, Tradition and Culture has been preached and has become popular, but not the Gospel of the Kingdom, as given to our Jewish Apostles about 2000 years ago. Reclaiming the Biblical Gospel is a matter of life and death to all the nations of the earth!

The Placebo

The Cultural Gospel, with its man-made traditions, pagan celebrations and lack of true Holy Spirit Power and Fire, has created an organized False Bride who is happy with a placebo instead of the real cure for the Cancer of Religion. Many nice people are doing good and socially-acceptable works, but they are not in obedience to the Almighty, who demands that we HEAR and then OBEY. We hear by reading His Word and we obey His Word through the Power of the Holy Spirit; we obey not through our own intellect, filtered through our culture, but our intellect filtered through His Culture. He sent The Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. We are not guided to truth through our culture or motivational speakers, even if they are great orators!
The Biblical Gospel is the Real Answer
If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Beloveds, at times like this we are all called to go lower so we can go higher!
We must humble ourselves, pray, and seek His face so that we can get rid of all that has offended Him, of all that is not pure from the Source. It is time to go back to the basics of the Gospel Made in Zion that comes with Torah (Yah’s instructions for life) and the Power of the Holy Spirit. We cannot walk pleasing unto Him unless we walk by the Spirit. And, if we walk by the Spirit, we will walk in obedience to His Biblical way and instructions. We will not walk rigidly religious, neither lax in a cheap grace gospel, but we will walk and live in Him!
