Torah Portion TOLDOT – Beresheet (Genesis) 25:19-28:9 Haftarah: Malachi 1:1-2:7
“But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:13 (TLV)
Shabbat shalom, dearly beloved!
We are living in difficult times. The world as we know it is changing. The birth pangs of the Messiah’s return to Jerusalem are being felt worldwide. Satan knows he has a little time, so he has increased his attacks. October 7 happened in Israel, antisemitism is growing in the nations, Islam has invaded large parts of Europe, and the main cities in the USA have fallen into the hands of Muslim leaders whose agenda is to bring in Sharia law, causing storms, typhoons, earthquakes, and civil chaos. The world has ganged against Israel’s covenant right to its Promised Land.
Therefore, rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you with great fury, knowing that his time is short!” Revelations 12:12 (TLV)
What are we to do in evil times? We are called to endure, not to give up.

- What Does It Mean to Endure?
To endure is to remain steadfast — not only to survive trials but to stay faithful to God’s truth and love through them. It’s the quiet strength that holds on when everything else shakes.
In Hebrew thought, endurance is connected to faithful steadfastness (אמונה – emunah) — trusting God’s covenant even when you can’t see the outcome.
- God’s Enduring Character
Before we can endure, we must know that Adonai endures first.
“For Adonai is good. His lovingkindness endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 100:5 (TLV)
His mercy, His truth, and His promises do not fade with time or circumstance. Because He endures, we can endure.
Reflection:
How does remembering God’s unchanging nature help you face changing circumstances?

- Enduring Through Trials
“Happy is the one who endures testing, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life.” James 1:12 (TLV)
Endurance is not passive; it’s an active trust in God’s goodness even in suffering. Yeshua Himself endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2-3 TLV), showing us that joy can exist even amid pain when we keep our eyes fixed on the eternal.
Reflection:
What trials in your life right now could be opportunities for God to strengthen your endurance?
- Endurance in Love
“It bears all things, it believes all things, it hopes all things, it endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7 (TLV)
True love — both divine and human — perseveres. Love endures misunderstandings, waiting, and even wounds, because it is rooted in God’s unending love for us.
Reflection:
In what relationship or area of service is God calling you to endure in love?

- The Promise of Enduring Faith
“The one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:13 (TLV)
Endurance is not about earning salvation but about holding fast to the faith that saves. It is the fruit of a heart anchored in hope — a life that refuses to let go of Yeshua.
Reflection:
How can you cultivate habits (prayer, Scripture, community) that help your faith endure daily?
Closing Prayer
Abba Father, thank You that Your lovingkindness endures forever. Teach me to remain steadfast in faith, even when the road is long and the answers seem far. Strengthen me by Your Ruach to endure with joy, just as Yeshua endured the cross for me.
May my love not grow cold, but endure through all things. In Yeshua’s name, amen.

Study at GRM Israeli Bible Institute

Testimonies from the students:
I was second in command for a nationwide gang, but with the help of YHVH and GRM Bible School, I have begun to denounce that, after 21 years of membership. The enemy has been attacking me because of it. He knows he is losing a warrior, but I fight a different war for a different Master now. – J.M.
I used to be confused and uncomfortable because I didn’t know what to believe. There are so many different doctrines, all going against each other and teaching different things. I now understand the Gospel better and know my faith’s roots. – E.P
I have been wrong all my life, but now I understand what God wants from me! – R.D.
