Torah Portion KI TETZE – Devarim (Deuteronomy) 21:10-25:19 Haftarah: Isaiah 54:1-10
Now YHVH spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, “The sons of Israel shall camp, each by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ households; they shall camp around the tent of meeting at a distance. Numbers 2:1
Shabbat shalom, dearly beloved!
In ancient Israel, every tribe had its own banner or its own flag. When the flag was lifted up somewhere, the troops knew to rally behind their flag. Not to do so would be regarded as insurrection and being absent from service without leave. Even worse, it would have been to rally behind the flag of the wrong tribe—that would have caused serious chaos and defeat in battle, for every tribe and every flag had its place and assignment.
When the People of Israel were reestablished again in our own Land after 2000 years of exile, THREE things were needed to define us as a nation:
- A Name
- A Flag
- A Purpose
It was not a given that the name would be Israel; it was debated quite a bit. Some people wanted to call it Judah, for example. Concerning the flag, there were also debates as to what could represent our people who were exiled among the nations for about 2000 years. It was decided that the Talit (Prayer Mantle), with its blue and white stripes centered by a Magen David (David’s Shield, or called by some the Star of David), would be the right flag. Wherever the young IDF would go and, in defense of their Arab enemies, would take more territory, they would raise the flag as a sign that this was Israeli territory. What is called today the City of Eilat was established by raising the Ink Flag over what used to be British police stations, called Um Rash. There was no city there then, only desert. It was so important to raise the Israeli flag right away that, since they did not have one ready, they drew one over a white sheet with blue ink, and therefore it’s called the Ink Flag. Flags mark territory and define the Army.
The purpose of establishing the State of Israel was a National home for the Jewish People, where every Jew would be free to be a Jew without fear of persecution, as it had been in the nations for nearly 2000 years.
Of course, the Almighty defines the purpose of our return to the Land in more precise terms and maybe less “romantic”.
“Therefore, say to the house of Israel, ‘ Thus says the Lord God, “It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went. I will vindicate the holiness of My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God, “when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight. For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands, and bring you into your own land. Ezekiel 36:22-24
The purpose of reestablishing us in His Land was to vindicate His Holy Name so the nations will KNOW that He is YHVH.
We cannot separate the restoration of Israel from the salvation of the nations. The God of Israel is also the King of the Nations. IF Israel is restored, then the nations will be saved. IF Israel had not returned to its land, then there would have been no hope for the nations. Nations that oppose the restoration of Israel are actually dooming themselves to eternal judgment.
For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. Zechariah 2:8
For YHVH’s indignation is against all the nations, and His wrath against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them; He has given them over to slaughter. For YHVH has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion. Isaiah 34:2.8
We are calling all the believers in Messiah from the nations to rally around the right name, flag, and purpose for the end-time battle for the souls of men.
The name is the United Nations for Israel.
The flag is the fully lit-up Menorah superimposed over the world globe with 2 olive branches within the flag of Israel.
The purpose is turning nations into Sheep Nations, one person at a time, through a global re-education that teaches nations to espouse Biblical politics in their internal moral affairs and in their foreign affairs with their relationship with Israel.
As I mentioned above, it is only when nations fully support the restoration of Israel in its own Land, with Jerusalem as its capital, that they can enjoy salvation and redemption. Their well-being depends on the well-being of Israel. This is both a priestly and a kingly affair. We need to learn to pray and to do the spiritual battle necessary for this to happen. We need to get re-educated concerning Israel and the Gospel made in Zion versus the one that came from Rome, and we need to run to implement it into our spiritual communities and governments. Apart from this, all nations will be under judgment because of “the cause of Zion”.
“Many nations will join themselves to YHVH in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. YHVH will possess Judah as His portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. Zechariah 2:11, 12 (15, 16 in Hebrew)
The many nations that will join YHVH in the Day of the Restoration of Israel, the Jewish People, and Jerusalem have a name. It is called:
The United Nations for Israel
It has a Flag given via Prophetic Revelation to Archbishop Dominiquae Bierman.
It has a purpose, and it has an Embassy at the gates of Jerusalem. This is fulfilling the prophecy given by the prophet Zechariah that when nations UNITE unto YHVH on the day of the restoration of the Jewish People and Jerusalem, then the People of Israel will
“Know that YHVH sent ME (the Messiah) to you.”
It is only the unconditional love of the nations that unite unto YHVH (believers in the God of Israel through the Jewish Messiah Yeshua) that will cause Israel’s redemption. And it is the restoration of Israel in its own Land that will cause the salvation of the nations. This is the culmination of what we call “The Key of Abraham”.
And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:3
When you join the United Nations for Israel, you are joining the most prophetic and divinely appointed move of global restoration.
Get yourself up on a high mountain, O Zion, bearer of good news, lift up your voice mightily, O Jerusalem, bearer of good news; Lift it up, do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your Elohim!” Isaiah 40:9
You are also joining the move that will display the banner of truth before the People of Israel and before all nations.
You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. Psalm 60:4
We entreat you to recognize the flag you need to rally behind and join this prophetic army. This is so important to the Almighty that He will allow no one to stop this move that He originated. In fact, He is commanding all other opposing voices to shut up! YHVH Zevaot, the God of the Armies, is overseeing this Move Himself, and He will not be denied!
“Be silent, all flesh, before YHVH; for He is aroused from His holy habitation.” Zechariah 2:13 (17 in Hebrew)
