Celebrating Israel’s 77th Anniversary
Torah Portion TAZRIA-METZORA – Vayikra (Leviticus) 12:1-15:33 Haftarah: 2 Kings 7:3-20
Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? Isaiah 66:8 NASB ‘95
On the 14th of May of 1948, Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion declared in a building in Tel Aviv: “Today, the State of Israel has been born.” This was an indescribable miracle after 2000 years of long, painful exile for the ancient people of Israel, the Jews. The excitement and joy ran high on that day not only among the Jewish people but also among many nations. When YHVH brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with a song of joy. Then they said among the nations, “Adonai has done great things for them.” Adonai has done great things for us we are joyful! Psalms 126:2-3
Indeed, we were like those who dream, and many nations said, “Great things have YHVH done with them, we are glad!” Until that awesome day, most people of the world were affected by Christianity, and the common belief among Christians was, “God is done away with Israel.” Most of the more prominent theologians had come to the conclusion that Israel sinned by rejecting Messiah as a nation (the religious government) and that they would always be under a curse because, at the time of Yeshua’s crucifixion, the mob hired by the High Priest of the time was shouting, “Let His blood be on us and our children.” (Matthew 27:25 NASB ‘95)
Christian doctrine went as far as to concoct the lie that “Jews killed God/Christ,” and for that, they deserve to pay with their own blood. Every Easter, when reenacting the Passion, many Jewish villages in Poland and other European countries were sacked and the people murdered to “avenge the blood of Jesus Christ.” This belief ran its course during the Nazi Shoah (Holocaust), where Hitler, quoting Martin Luther’s infamous book “On the Jews and Their Lies,” expelled all the Jews of Germany for “killing Christ” and eventually exterminated six million of them in horrible gas chambers and other terrible means.
With that kind of atmosphere in the nations towards the Jews for nearly 2000 years, it was unheard of that all of a sudden “in one day,” the Jews experienced so much favor as to “be born in one day” back in their ancient and Biblical promised land after 2000 years of such exile. This kind of miracle had never occurred before in the world! The same ancient people, back to their same ancient homeland, with the same ancient language of the Holy Scriptures—Hebrew!
Slowly, slowly, Bible-believing Christians began to catch up with the immensity of this event, and they began to call Israel “The Time Clock of the Nations.” Many began to realize that this single miracle of Israel, “born in one day,” fulfilling countless prophecies in the Holy Bible, was the biggest and most prominent sign of the soon return of the Messiah to Jerusalem! Indeed, from the 14th of May 1948, we can boldly say we are living in the last days, and Yeshua is about to return. He said 2000 years ago to the people of Israel,
For I tell you, you will never see Me again until you say, ‘Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Matthew 23:39
The people of Israel, in their own Land with Jerusalem as its capital, would be the only people that can usher the Messiah back and welcome Him officially back to earth to establish His one-thousand-year reign!
The Judgment of the Nations
For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and they have divided up My land. Joel 3:1-2 NASB ‘95
At the same time that the Almighty returned the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem by restoring the Jewish people back to their ancient, promised land, He also began to judge the nations for the way they had treated the Jewish people for the last 2000 years. He began to fill the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Judgment of Yah-God) with “candidates” for destruction. Indeed, the Word of God says that He has already given them over to the slaughter (past tense). Spiritually, the Judge of the universe has already prejudged the nations that had misbehaved with Israel, and now the manifestation of that judgment is being felt in the form of earthquakes, tsunamis, terror attacks, and “global warming.”
Draw near, O nations, to hear, and listen, O peoples! Let the earth hear, and all it contains, the world, and all its offspring! For Adonai is enraged at all the nations, and furious at all their armies. He will utterly destroy them. He will give them over to slaughter. For Adonai has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the hostility against Zion. Isaiah 34:1-2, 8
Now, that does not sound like good news, especially since He said that He will plunder those who have plundered the Jews, and that touching Israel is a serious thing that incurs His divine wrath.
For thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot, He has sent me after glory to the nations that plundered you—because whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye. Zechariah 2:8
Jewish Blood Crying from the Ground
He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground. Genesis 4:10 NASB ‘95
Too much Jewish blood is crying from the ground of the nations, and He must avenge that blood. There is a time, and it is now when He has to judge all that has happened in past generations concerning Israel. Israel has already suffered double for all her sins, and it is time to comfort her.
“Comfort, comfort My people,” says your God. Speak kindly to the heart of Jerusalem and proclaim to her that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity has been removed. For she has received from Adonai’s hand double for all her sins”. Isaiah 40:1-2
But the nations will now suffer double for all their sins concerning Israel and concerning rejecting the Jewish Messiah Yeshua that has been presented to the Gentiles under the name of Jesus Christ for 2000 years. The Word of God says that first the Jew suffers and then the Greek (or Gentile non-Jew).
There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 2:9-10 NASB ‘95
The Jew has already suffered untold pain, and now the Gentiles are in the valley of judgment.
The Mercy Seat
For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy, mercy triumphs over judgment. Yaakov (James) 2:13
Many years ago, the Almighty told me that He was sending me as the mercy seat to Switzerland. The mercy seat is the “lid” of the ark of the covenant that used to be in the tabernacle of Moses and in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. The blood of a perfect animal was spilled over the mercy seat, symbolizing the throne of God on earth. Once the High Priest presented the blood during the Day of Atonement, Yom HaKipurim (Leviticus 16), then on behalf of that blood Sacrifice the people of Israel would be forgiven of their sins for one more year.
When Yah (God) sent me as the mercy seat to Switzerland and to other nations, He was saying to me: “I want to extend mercy to the nations though they deserve judgment, and I want to use you (me) as the contact point for the release of that mercy. You are a Jew, and your ancestors suffered at the hands of the nations and, most particularly, Christians. If the nations that I send you to receive you, honor you, and repent of their sins towards the Jews, then instead of judgment, I will bring revival, and entire nations will become sheep nations and will be born again in one day!”
It took me a while until I understood the magnitude of my task (I am still in the process of understanding), but I have already seen signs of the magnitude of this. When I am well received in a nation by the hosting pastors/bishops and/or government, great grace is released quite instantly. If the priests (church) of that nation follow through with blessing Israel, an overturning of the judgment begins to happen.
And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. —Genesis 12:3 NASB ‘95
Remission of Sins
But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins—then He said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.” Matthew 9:6 NASB ‘95
When Yeshua was in Capernaum, some people brought Him a paralytic man on a stretcher and lowered him through the roof of Peter’s house, where He was preaching. This paralytic man could not bring himself to the Lord; he needed the friends to bring him. Yeshua said to him, “Your sins are forgiven,” and the invalid man was instantly healed and stood to his feet!
In the same manner, the nations of the earth are like that invalid man; they are unable to bring themselves before Elohim-God. They are paralyzed by their own sin and especially those committed against Israel, most of them by the historical church in the name of Jesus Christ! The nations need some “friends” to bring them to the Lord for healing. Those friends are the priest of the nations, the saints of God in any given nation.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9 NASB ‘95
Only lately have I begun to understand the magnitude of this mercy seat anointing. The Lord has spoken to me two times in the last year: “Acceleration”. He wants entire nations to be born in one day, just like Israel; entire nations to be restored and to be born again! Israel is a reborn nation in the natural. The strategy that He has given me is the remission or forgiveness of sins.
“If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.” John 20:23 NASB ‘95
I have exercised the authority of remission of sins over helpless people that we could not reach through conventional methods, such as people in a coma (my dad), clinically dead (my own son), the elderly (when they are not responsive and their mind is gone), mentally sick, and the like. The Holy Spirit has given me the revelation of the enormous weight of authority that we carry as end-time Jewish apostles, and that includes the remission of sins, an amazing divine weapon that has been neglected. But we need the “friends of the paralytic nations” to bring the nations before God in repentance so we can release forgiveness of sin as Jewish apostles-prophets to that nation.
