Torah Portion BO – Shemot (Exodus) 10:1-13:16 Haftarah: Jeremiah 46:13-28
“So I was afraid, and I went off and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’” Matthew 25:25 TLV
Shabbat shalom dearly beloved,
Right after Yeshua appeared to me at the Sea of Galilee and I said YES in Jerusalem, He sent me a prophet. This lady was a Christian Cuban from Miami. She was a member of a very well-known congregation in the 80’s led by Pastor Cruz. I was the tour guide assigned to lead this group throughout Israel, and I was a brand-new believer, filled with the Holy Spirit. Nora came to me before the tour started that morning. She was very pale and obviously shaken and said,
Yeshua appeared to me bodily at 4 AM. I could touch His feet! He told me not to allow you to start the tour today before you hear His prophetic word to you. She proceeded to quote the Master.
Tell Dominiquae that I have given her a gift of grace to attract people unto her, as the bees are attracted to the honey. Tell her that I will send her to many nations for the love of Israel. Tell her not to fear, for I have angels around her as the lights of Jerusalem. Because she has been faithful in the little, I will put her in the much.

This prophecy has accompanied me for 38 years of walk with Yeshua and 36 years of full-time ministry in over 50 nations and counting. (I stopped counting at 50). I have seen it fulfilled every time I stepped out in faith to go to one more nation, recently, for example, to Taiwan, the Gate of Asia.
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful with a little, so I’ll put you in charge of much. Enter into your master’s joy!” Matthew 25:23 TLV
I have prayed countless times: Abba, help me to be faithful to hear the words from your mouth one day. My personal prophecy given to me by Nora in 1988 is based on the above scripture of the parable of the talents. The context is the following:
“For it is like a man about to go on a journey. He called his own servants and handed over his possessions to them. To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey.” Matthew 25:14-15 TLV

This was about talents of gold, which is a financial currency. Two of the servants invested their talents and doubled them. They were amply trusted and rewarded.
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful with a little, so I’ll put you in charge of much. Enter into your master’s joy!’’’ Matthew 25:21 TLV
But one was afraid and hid it in the ground.
“Then the one who had received the one talent also came up and said, ‘Master, I knew that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow and gathering where you scattered no seed. So I was afraid, and I went off and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’” Matthew 25:24-25 TLV
Fear stopped this man from any kind of blessing or fruitfulness.
“But his master responded, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow and gather where I scattered no seed?” Matthew 25:26 TLV
Eventually, his talent was given to the one who had the most talents.
“For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have plenty. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.” Matthew 13:12 TLV

Fear does two things: Keeps people poor and unfruitful, in fact, disfavored. Unless we step out in faith to use for His glory what Yah has given us, whether financially, physically, or spiritually, we will be fruitless, stagnant, and disfavored.
“But his master responded, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow and gather where I scattered no seed? Then you should have brought my money to the brokers, and when I came, I would have received it back with interest. Therefore, take the talent away from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For to the one who has, more shall be given, and he shall have an abundance. But from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.” Matthew 25:26-29 TLV
This is a very serious issue, and it can cause a person to be totally lost. Self-preservation literally takes you to hell.
“Throw the worthless servant out into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 25:30 TLV
But notice that the faithful servants did not hoard the talents for themselves. They brought their advances to the Master.
““The one who had received the two talents also came up and said, ‘Master, you handed me two talents. Look, I’ve gained two more.’” Matthew 25:22 TLV

The idea was investing for the Master’s sake, not for themselves. Many people are hoarding money for themselves but are stingy concerning the affairs of the Kingdom. If you are not faithful to present your acquired possessions and any other talents to the Master, you will lose them. Worse than that is that you can lose your soul.
To the fearful, who worry about their money, their lives, and their safety above their devotion to Yeshua, He says:
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.” Matthew 10:28 TLV
The opposite of fear is LOVE.
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and the one who fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18 TLV
When we walk in love, everything we are and everything we have belongs to Him. Then we will be favored, empowered, and fruitful in every endeavor.
“And you shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”” Mark 12:30-31 TLV
A prayer
Abba, I ask you to forgive me for all lack of love, fear, selfishness, and unfruitfulness. I choose to invest my life, my time, my finances, and all the gifts and talents You have given me in the affairs of Your Kingdom. Help me to be wise to multiply them and become faithful and fruitful for Your glory. In Yeshua’s name. Amen

Study at GRM Israeli Bible Institute
You’ll never need to take another Bible School again. GRM Bible Institute is a washing machine that leads you to the 1st century truth. You will discover the original Gospel made in Zion that has set many free.
Testimonies from the students:
I was second in command for a nationwide gang, but with the help of YHVH and GRM Bible School, I have begun to denounce that, after 21 years of membership. The enemy has been attacking me because of it. He knows he is losing a warrior, but I fight a different war for a different Master now. – J.M.
I used to be confused and uncomfortable because I didn’t know what to believe. There are so many different doctrines, all going against each other and teaching different things. I now understand the Gospel better and know my faith’s roots. – E.P
I have been wrong all my life, but now I understand what God wants from me! – R.D.
