He remembers His covenant forever—the word He commanded for a thousand generations — which He made with Abraham, and swore to Isaac, and confirmed to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying, “To you I give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance.” Psalms 105:8-11
Shabbat shalom, dearly beloved!
There is no other name that provokes more emotion than the name of Israel—in some, it’s love, and in some, irrational hatred. But why is this? What is it about Israel that makes it the center of world attention, both positive and negative?
Israel, The Holy Triunity:
- The God of Israel
- The People of Israel
- The Land of Israel
Back in the Land
After 2000 painful years of exile and persecution, the People of the God of Israel have returned to a small portion of their Promised Land, this after the most horrendous and cruel extermination of Jews. The Nazi Shoá or Holocaust, was the outcome of 1600 years of anti-Semitic Christian doctrines. This was launched from the most Protestant nation of that time (Germany) and mainly executed in the most Catholic nation of that time (Poland), where the majority of the concentration and death camps were established. Notwithstanding, there were many ruthless killings in Russia and Ukraine, which were Orthodox Christian nations.
The rebirth of the people of Israel in the Land of Israel was a miracle act of the God of Israel. These Holocaust survivors, as well as survivors of countless European persecutions, managed to purchase the land of their ancestors from the hands of the ruling Turkish Empire. They bought overpriced swampland, sand dunes, and rockeries. And with blood, sweat, and tears—and no small faith—they managed to turn desert and desolate Israel into a Garden of Eden. The Sons of Israel have finally come back home against all odds. Some Christians joined to help them, recognizing the Zionistic Movement of settling the Land as a fulfillment of prophecy.
Hitler’s Child
However, another religious system called Islam arose to persecute the People of Jacob, the People of Israel. This one was infused with cruel jealousy and irrational hatred. They concocted a hideous plan to continue the Final Solution that Hitler executed (based upon what the great church reformer Martin Luther advised in his book On the Jews and their
Lies), resulting in more than six million Jewish deaths and leaving behind an endless mountain of ashes. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was placed in his position by the British government during the British Mandate in the Land of Palestine. (Note: The name “Palestine” was given to the Holy Land by the Roman Empire in an attempt to erase the Covenant name of Israel from this land. They replaced it with the name of the Philistines, the arch enemies of Israel; thus, the name Palestine was born.)
This Grand Mufti, the biggest Muslim religious leader during the British mandate, was named Haj Amin el-Husseini and was notorious for his cruelty. He unleashed two devastating massacres against peaceful Jewish communities during 1921 and 1929, prior to the establishment of the State of Israel. Because of his relentless cruelty, he was finally exiled from the Holy Land by the British, who had elevated him in the first place. This same bloodthirsty Muslim visited Hitler in Berlin in 1941. At that time, he asked Hitler to build him a Muslim army within the Land to execute the Final Solution in the Land of Israel. Hitler complied gladly, and the PLO, the Palestinian Liberation Organization, was born. This was Hitler’s Child, conceived with the Grand Mufti. Out of the PLO came all the other terror groups that fight for the Palestinian cause, simply the fulfillment of Hitler’s agenda. These organizations are, to name a few, Fatah, Hamas, Hezbollah (Party of Allah), Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and ISIS.
Against all odds, Israel has survived the endless attacks of her Arab neighbors from within and from without. The anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist pro-Palestinian organizations have launched relentless attacks against the Jews in the Land and outside of it in other nations. Hitler’s Child has grown and has become mature. The United Nations has made it a point to nurture Hitler’s Child, the Palestinian Cause, by endless unjust resolutions and verbal attacks against the State of Israel. The mainstream media has added venomous fuel to the fire. A new brand of anti-Semitism in the form of Anti-Zionism has been unleashed, even more venomous than before the Second World War.
Sheep Nations Arising
“God, do not keep silent. Do not hold Your peace, O God. Do not be still. For look, Your enemies make an uproar. Those who hate You lift up their heads. They make a shrewd plot against Your people, conspiring against Your treasured ones. “Come,” they say, “let’s wipe them out as a nation! Let Israel’s name be remembered no more!” Psalms 83:2-5 TLV
And yet the Word of the God of Israel stands forever!
A sanctified, prophetic people from among the nations had begun to rise up to stand with Israel against all odds. This is the United Nations for Israel (UNIFY), composed of born-again believers from all over the world who are grafted into the Olive Tree, loving and worshipping a Jewish Messiah in His Shabbats and feasts. This is the Bride of Messiah, a body of Jewish and Gentile Messianic, Apostolic, and Prophetic believers: the One New Man has been born! These are the leaders of the future Sheep Nations – fulfilling the heart cry of the Jewish Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul from Tarsus, to make the Jewish People jealous to have their Messiah back.
In that day many nations will join themselves to Adonai and they will be My people, and I will dwell among you.’ Then you will know that Adonai-Tzva’ot has sent me to you.” Zechariah 2:15 TLV
“Then I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication, when they will look toward Me whom they pierced. They will mourn for him as one mourns for an only son and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn.” Zechariah 12:10 TLV
“For if you were cut out of that which by nature is a wild olive tree, and grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?” Romans 11:24 TLV
“For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be ignorant of this mystery—lest you be wise in your own eyes—that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, ‘The Deliverer shall come out of Zion. He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” Romans 11:25-27 TLV
This will complete the Holy Triunity:
- The God of Israel
- The People of Israel
- The Land of Israel
“Adonai will inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land and will once again choose Jerusalem.” Zechariah 2:16 TLV
Anyone that opposes His plan will be thrust into the Valley of Judgment, but Judah will be established forever.
“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore Judah and Jerusalem from exile, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. I will plead with them there on behalf of My people, even My inheritance, Israel, whom they scattered among the nations and they divided up My land.” Joel 4:1-2 TLV
“It will happen in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” Zechariah 12:9 TLV
“But Judah will be inhabited forever—Jerusalem from generation to generation.” Joel 4:20 TLV
“Be silent before Adonai, all flesh, for He has aroused Himself from His holy dwelling.” Zechariah 2:17 TLV
Furthermore, the Sheep Nations that survive the wrath of God because of the hostility against Zion will celebrate Sukkot—the Feast of Tabernacles—with the People of Israel from year to year.
“Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, and to celebrate Sukkot. Furthermore, if any of the nations on earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, they will have no rain. If the Egyptians do not go up and celebrate, they will have no rain. Instead, there will be the plague that Adonai will inflict on the nations that do not go up to celebrate
Sukkot.” Zechariah 14:16-18 TLV
Christmas is not mentioned as being celebrated anywhere in the Bible, nor during the Millennial Reign of Yeshua, but Sukkot is mandated. This is the most probable Feast when the Messiah was likely born, while Christmas was borrowed from the Roman Feast of Saturnalia, with its pagan customs of decorating evergreen trees.
The nations, together with Israel, will be celebrating Yeshua’s life forever during the Feast of Sukkot, removing all falsehood from their heart and lips, offering pure worship to Him Who is worthy.
